Construction and Warranty

Motormate is proud of our construction standards that separate us from everybody else.  Our designs were instituted with some very specific and common problems in mind.

The top bar, pins, springs and cylinders are all made of stainless steel.  This is important so that it lasts a lifetime.

One common and major concern from boating experts is that the end caps are designed properly.  Our end caps are constructed of high-impact nylon and designed to not cut the ground wire of Mercury motors.  A sub-standard locking device will have its end caps in direct contact with the ground wire and the washer so that in time, the ground wire is accidentally cut or damaged.  Motormate is designed to keep the ground wire safely away from all stress points.  "Motormate has double bars here to help evenly distribute weight of motor, therefore preventing bending at any stress points"

Our product has been powder coated and not painted in order to deliver durability above and beyond all other similar products.

We are confident of our product and so we give you a 3 year warranty against manufacturer defects.
